Make oven dried tomatoes with your fresh garden tomatoes!

Serves: 8 ounces
Ingredients
  • 2 lbs fresh tomatoes
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • non-stick vegetable spray
  • sea salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Wash + dry tomatoes.
  3. Slice tomatoes into wedges, approx. 4-6 per tomato.
  4. Spray cookie / baking sheet with non-stick spray.
  5. Arrange tomatoes in several lines across the pan, fitting in as many per sheet as possible.
  6. Bake in oven at 200 degrees for 4 hours.
  7. Remove from oven when dry but slightly chewy and cool.
  8. Store in freezer in airtight Ziploc bags.
  9. Add to soups + entrees all year long!
