Cheap Thanksgiving Decor.

Halloween happened in the blink of an eye and it’s onto Thanksgiving now.  It’s one of those sort of ambiguous holidays, decorating wise.  How much more can you really do with pumpkins? Levi giveaway.

levi jeans

It’s Tuesday! I’m celebrating the fact that I live in a democratic country which is holding general elections today by wearing my pajamas while I work at home, and by hosting a giveaway. The outfit I showed you a little while ago, my “Rock Concert Outfit” featured some jeggings.  Do you know what those are?  Jean leggings.  They’re stretchy, jean leggings.  And contrary to everything I would have expected, I love them. So I’m giving away two pair of Levi’s…

kids animal magazine.

ranger rick magazine

Do your kids love magazines?  Mine do.  In fact, little Miss Precocious has had a regular subscription to her favorite magazine since her 4th birthday.  My mom gave her a subscription to Your Big Backyard, a magazine by the National Wildlife Federation, and we’ve re-subscribed every year since. It’s a phenomenal magazine. As Precocious has gotten older she’s graduated right along with the magazine to the next level, Ranger Rick.  Funny jokes, information about animals, the environment, quizzes, random crafts; …

Now that we’ve cleared the hurdle of Halloween, we’re a hop, skip, and a jump away from Christmas.  Christmas equals presents.  And presents mean planning. At least that’s how it works in my world.  If I don’t plan ahead, I end up at the Dollar Store on Christmas Eve jamming cheap nail polish and gummy candy into my basket as fast as my fists can go. This is my present to my mom this year.  A customized, hand-stamped necklace sent…

Not good. I woke up with hands the size of bear claws.  Lupus + sugar don’t mix.  Sugar makes me swell.  To the size of a water buffalo. Oh well.  Those…

Cute Camera Bag.

purse camera bag

At the Mighty Summit this cute Epiphane camera bag was one of many amazing gifts we were given. Yes, this purse is actually camera bag. Fo’ Shizzle. There’s room enough in the bag for a large camera, like my Canon EOS Digital SLR, and a few lenses.  I always have my three lenses with me, wherever I go.  You never know when you might need to shoot in a low light situation! This little thing, the one that looks like…
