First of all, awesome job. My husband asked what I was watching. I said, MY FRIEND ALLISON….:) I was squinting because I’m not used to your dark hair still.

Great choices…I spent an hour in the dressing room at Nordstrom today…I got a so-so dress, but BAM I did get two pairs of awesome shoes…

Still on the hunt for headbands…it is all ABOUT the accessories.

Thank you! I know, I threw you a curve ball with the dark hair, but you recovered nicely.

There is an amazing Nordstrom Rack in Brea. I spent 4 hours there last time i was in your neighborhood.

P.S. accessories? Forever 21. Always.

you’re so good at this whole putting outfits together thing!!

I can’t wait to wear my Yummie Tummie biker short thingies pretty much for the rest of my life.

You’re not too shabby with the outfits putting together thing yourself. Foxy mama.

It’s a good thing I have TWO pieces of Yummie Tummie to get me through the weekend.

:)

Um — everything was cute, but what I really want to know is where you got that green t-shirt you were wearing???

6 Allison July 20, 2010 at 12:56 am

The green tee has your name written all over it! TJ Maxx baby.

7 Marie July 19, 2010 at 8:49 pm

Ugh, I’m sooo behind on even thinking about what to wear. So I’m happy to see this and start my engine! So great!

Get your motor runnin’, head out on the highway….

You are so cute, Allison. I love this!
And damn damn damn I wish I was going to BlogHer! I’ll be with you ladies in spirit!!!

10 Allison July 20, 2010 at 12:57 am

It turned out not too shabby, even though it was my first shot.

I wish you were coming to BlogHer too. Boo!

Are three suitcases enough, or should I plan on four? You know, just for my shoes?

12 Allison July 20, 2010 at 12:57 am

YOU, my friend? Will need AT LEAST one suitcase just for shoes. Really and truly.

Aren’t those fun jeans? They’ve been my favorite summer staple.

Thanks for the encouragement, coming from the vlogging diva, I’ll take it!

I so don’t want to make this a fashion show, but I know as soon as I start packing, I’ll be thinking the same things!

You rock girl! Definitely want to meet ya face to face sometime. I’ll come say hi!

16 Allison July 20, 2010 at 11:17 pm

It doesn’t have to be a fashion show at all, but I love dressing up when I get the chance!

17 Andrea July 20, 2010 at 10:58 am

Great ideas! I haven’t started putting things together yet, but My Spanxx will have top billing in the suitcase for sure :-) I also need to start thinking about jewelry! With a toddler I am out of the habit but great accessories make ALL the difference!

18 Allison July 20, 2010 at 11:19 pm

Spanx = fabulous.

Accessories make all the difference in the world, and they’re cheap!

I love that tunic, and the heels too (which I remember from an earlier post).

I’m not sure what I’m wearing yet. I’ll probably be tearing apart the closet next week getting ready. But I’m with you on no heels during the day. It was too much last year.

PS I’m glad I finally know how to pronounce your last name.

20 Allison July 20, 2010 at 11:22 pm

Think of it like this: Char-NET-ski

The heels are from BlissDom, and are fabulous. I love love love wearing them! Only flats during the day.

Whatever pack, save room for the goodie bag and or any shopping you do in NYC. See you there!

22 Allison July 20, 2010 at 11:23 pm

Yes, can’t you just wait for the shopping? I’m planning to hit a thrift store or two.

23 Kim July 20, 2010 at 1:54 pm

Allison, you are so cute. Gah, I went shopping today and just feel like a zero. I did pick up a couple of cute pieces, a dress from Target with a cardi and a fat sucker-inner. ;) I am good to go for at least one cocktail party. Can’t wait to see you!

24 Allison July 20, 2010 at 11:54 pm

No, no feeling like a zero! I always carry a fat sucker inner.

Can’t wait to see YOU!

25 Vanessa July 20, 2010 at 6:29 pm

So pretty you are :) Have a blast!

26 Allison July 20, 2010 at 11:55 pm

Thank you, I will!

27 Loukia July 20, 2010 at 6:48 pm

You are so cute! I know mostly what I’m bringing/wearing – for night time, pink dress from Banana one night, black dress from Banana the other night! OR.. BCBG black dress. Will decide that night! (I’m only there Thursday/Friday night, leaving Saturday. Boo.) As for the day… I was thinking cute more casual dress – have a nice straight to the knee black dress from Club I want to wear – hope it’s not too much? And a beige dress, belted, from Banana as well… OR of course… nice jeans, cute top. I will off course overpack!

28 Allison July 21, 2010 at 12:06 am

Loukia,

Nighttime is the most important time for planning your outfits, that’s when all the parties are!

You can’t go wrong with BCBG and Banana. Can’t wait to meet you!

29 Kami July 22, 2010 at 10:02 am

Look at you go, Vlogger. I loved it! and thanks for the heads up. I haven’t evne started to think about what to wear at Blogher.

30 Petit Elefant July 22, 2010 at 10:51 am

It’s because you’ve been on vacation. I, however, have been thinking about it a lot.
