The Pair of Shoes Every Woman Should Own for Traveling

Every woman needs approximately one billion pair of shoes. Shoes for rain, for snow, for roaming around inside the house, for coffee lunch dates with the girls, for date night, for the beach and the pool, a good pair of shoes for traveling, the grocery store and the carpool pick up lane, and a few for the office. Almost every woman I know needs shoes just because sometimes she sees a pair and knows they’ll be her new best friends, until another gorgeous pair comes along and jumps into her arms.

Shoes will never betray you by not fitting after you’ve eaten an entire pie in one sitting, *AHEM* not that I’ve ever done that.

(editors note: I have done that. In fact I did that yesterday.)

Personally, I own a lot of shoes, and each has their purpose but I’m regularly on the hunt for the perfect pair of travel shoes. The shoes that are most comfortable to travel in usually look like they’re good for geriatric care (nothing wrong there, mom!) but I’ve had a hard time finding something stylish + practical. A pair of shoes you could totally wear with a skirt into a cathedral or museum in a foreign European country and cute enough to wear with jeans or yoga pants on the cross-Atlantic plane ride.

I wore a pair of the new Reebok Skyscapes all over Disneyland last week and I’m here to tell you the hype is for real; these shoes are light as a feather and they sting like a bee. Just kidding, that’s Muhammad Ali’s line! But they’re totally the ‘light as a feather part.’ Usually when I do a serious amount of travel, including walking 10 miles a day at Disneyland (for FIVE days straight, sunup to sundown) I know exactly what shoes I’m wearing. I genuinely, 100% forgot about my feet at Disney, which never ever happens to me. The Reebok’s were so comfortable, and truly, far lighter than you can imagine. I can’t WAIT to pack them for a long, walk-all-over-cobblestone-streets, trip to Europe. Also? Packing them will be a delight since they are so lightweight and are MACHINE WASHABLE. Whut. I love them.

Bonus for you? Of course! I have a $65 gift card for one of you to get your own pair of comfy sneaks AND enter the Reebok Skyscrape spa getaway vacation for two! Guys. That’s amazing.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Reebok Skyscape via Burst Media. The opinions and text are all mine.

These are very cute! I love the hot pink and white version. Machine washable is pretty awesome too.
