Friends, I’m in bed. I feel like I’m dying, but that’s just me being dramatic. I literally have a fever of 102.2 and am having coughing contests with Charming, and there will be a lot of SpongeBob watching today.
I’ll be back later with holiday gift guides and giveaways galore. Hooray for alliteration!

I'm Allison, founder and editor of Petit Elefant. I run the gamut from granola to glamour and love everything in between. I think the beach is always a good idea, as is Diet Dr. Pepper; on ice. Sometimes I put out the fires and sometimes I start them. Sometimes I really do have it all together. Sometimes my children say otherwise. We just like to keep it real around here.

I guess there is a price to be paid for jazz hands
Be well; heal quickly (and "Grandma's Kisses" is my favorite SB episode for sure).
Leadia
Leadia,
I love that you know SpongeBob! Jazz hands do have consequences, for sure.
poor you…careful, too much spongebob + loss of valuable brain cells. i would know.
get well soon!
what i meant to say was:
= loss of valuable brain cells {stupid SHIFT key}
see what i'm talking about?
Jill,
Ha! Maybe I should get off the internets before I do/say something stupid.
nah, i got ya covered on that one!
Me, too, sister… 101.7 Bleh. Hope you're feeling better soon.
Hope you feels better soon!
I heard it's good to rub vicks vapo rub on the bottom of your feet, and then put socks on to stop the coughing. Sounds weird, but my friend's mom swears by it, might be worth a try! Feel better soon.
Feel better soon! Once again I need to live close so I can bring over some homemade soup. We love Spongebob, and when you tire of that, Dexter's Laboratory is a classic!
i hope you didn't get sick from too much pampering at the grand america…wow, your life IS hard.
There's a lot of that going around! Hope you get feeling better! You "picked" a good day to be sick- so you can avoid the wet/snowy roads!
I hope you feel better soon. Say hi to Spongebob for me.
Jill,
I signed off right after that comment. Clearly, I was not able to be in the presence of people, even ones via internets.
Naomi,
Feel better. And thanks for the Tylenol advice. Heading to the store pronto.
likeschocolate,
me too, thank you!
Nancy,
My dad told me that once. How random! I'll put it on the list of things Viktor needs to buy at the grocery store. No one should see me looking like this. NO ONE.
Emily,
When are you moving south again? Soon? I bet your cooking is swoon-worthy.
Susan Peterson,
I know, I feel like a tool talking about anything other than happy joy joy because really? It doesn't suck to be me.
Camille,
Oh, my body has no sense of timing. It just means I'm driving around, half-conscious in the snow hacking up a lung.
Kami,
Getting there! I'll say hi, but SpongeBob is selfish, he might not say hi back.
