To See Is To Feel – Best Photos Of 2014

Justin Hackworth Photography This treasured photo of my daughter is what started my friendship with Justin Hackworth, photographer and maker of art. It was taken for his 30 Strangers Project in 2009 and is one of my most valued possessions. Justin also photographed my baby sister as a bride, isn’t she stunning?

Justin Hackworth PhotographyJustin and his most lovely wife Amy have since become dear friends, much to my pleasure, and we’ve made some amazing memories along the way and hope to make many more. They’re just the best kind of people, you know? Genuine, creative, funny, and just wonderful all around. I feel lucky to be included in their circle.

Justin just posted his best photos from 2014 and boy oh boy, you’ve got to take a look. I’m not exaggerating when I say I had a visceral reaction to many of them. There’s just something about an image that conveys a feeling, an emotion, inspires a response. We need more of that in our lives! Consider this a friendly public service announcement, click over and see them for yourself, and then maybe give him a call to take your portrait after. You won’t regret it, not a single bit.
