organized home.

One of the things I love so much about Spring is a fresh start of cleaning and organizing, {well not so much the cleaning part, but definitely the organizing}. I love purging all the odds and ends acquired over the Fall & Winter and getting ready for Summertime garage sales. I’ve been cleaning out the house one closet and room at a time, squirreling all the superfluous goods found into a small corner of the garage. And when the time is right I’ll have at least two or three garage sales; P will man her own lemonade stand
{she always pockets around $20} C will drink/spill/waste half of P’s lemonade, and I will get rid of a huge chunk of clutter.

Organized Home {a great site full of tips and tricks to aid in household organization} has a yard sale checklist & invaluable tips about getting ready to hold one of your own.

Don’t feel like you have to do it all on your own; Organized Home has compiled a Spring Cleaning Chore Checklist as well as 5 Tips For Spring Cleaning With Your Kids. So print them out and share them with your kids; I’m sure they’ll be delighted.

Sometimes I put out the fires and sometimes I start them. Sometimes I really do have it all together. Sometimes my children say otherwise. We just like to keep it real around here.

Picked up a great book “de-clutter” and really love it.
Also, the book inspired me to post “desk vignettes” and many great photos of just that. I inspired many people to organize their desks – home offices.
    Your check list is great!
    An organized home is great!
    Hope you inspired many!

This is really great. Along the same lines, hubby gave me Real Simple Cleaning as a gift (He so totally gets me sometimes) and it’s fantastic! Thanks for sharing
