a little bit of a lot
Dear Readers,
One of my dear friends was involved in a car accident last night and her son was killed. I will not be blogging about anything frivolous today, I feel much, much too sad. If anything at all can be learned from this horrific nightmare, it is this:
your children must wear seat belts at.all.times.
He was a young, beautiful, promising boy and my heart is broken. We will see you all back here tomorrow.
I'm Allison, founder and editor of Petit Elefant. I run the gamut from granola to glamour and love everything in between. I think the beach is always a good idea, as is Diet Dr. Pepper; on ice. Sometimes I put out the fires and sometimes I start them. Sometimes I really do have it all together. Sometimes my children say otherwise. We just like to keep it real around here.

oh, Allison, I am so sorry for your friend’s loss. I can’t imagine how hard that must be for everyone.
Oh my god. I am so sorry and thinking of you and them today.
We received word early this moring with no details. C’s grandfather is my cousin. This is one of life’s greatest hurts as a parent, family member and friend. This is why everyday, never let a moment go by when you can take that moment to give a hug, kiss, word of encouragement, say “I’ll love you forever.”, smile, just let them know. Keep them all in your hearts and prayers.
I am so sorry and my thoughts are with you and his family.
So sorry to hear. It is not easy to lose a loved one, and for some reason I am being reminded of this more often that I want to. I am hoping it is not a sign of the future for me. My thoughts and prayers go to those who are mourning.
