road trip through napa valley, California

On our way from Lake Berryessa to San Francisco we drove through Napa, and yes it really is that beautiful. We don’t drink so it didn’t hold quite the luster it might have for you connoisseurs of wine, but the drive is gorgeous. I hear the right time of year is in the Fall when the grapes are all out in their glory. It probably smells amazing then too. But it was absolutely perfect for us in June.

Next time through, we’re definitely stopping to check out some of the amazing wineries.

:) I lived in Napa for 2 1/2 years and LOVED it there! These pictures make me miss it. The wineries are really neat even if you don't drink because they all have amazing architecture and decor.
