I am longing for weather that will allow me to wear boot, but right now it still feels like summr.

    • Petit Elefant :

It will come, I swear it will.

  2. Katrina :

    I am jealous…. of your shelving! :D

    • Petit Elefant :

      it’s pretty rad, right?

Costco. Cheap, fabulous. We’ve had it 7 years and I adore every single day.

  3. christy :

Cute! Like Kelley, it’s still hot here, but I long for Fall. Those Target boots are on my list, can’t beat that price!

    • Petit Elefant :

Seriously, you have to snatch them up while they’re still there. I wore them for 5 days straight over the weekend and they were totally comfortable the whole time.

      Go get some!

      • christy :

i did it! Went out at lunch (b/f I saw your message) & snatched them up! Cannot wait to wear them. Keep those outfit ideas coming! :)

i love you and your blog, allison! i’ve been reading for about a year and i SO appreciate the fact that you keep so many of your fashion tips “budget friendly.” you are really helping us mamas to stay cute and hip without blowing a wad of cash :) thank you!!!

    • Petit Elefant :

Oh Suzanne, thank you! I really appreciate that, I really do.

I try hard because I’m always on a budget, always buying thrifty things, and I never know if everyone else feels the same way.

I love boots. I have a little problem with them really. A girl cannot have too many boots. Well this girl can’t, at least.
Way to rock the fall look!!!

    • Petit Elefant :

There’s no such thing as a problem with boots. Period. They’re a necessary part of life.

      You’re welcome.

  6. Dottie :

Alix bought those exact boots too! I couldn’t find them in my size. No love for the big footed woman!

    • Allison :

Man! No fair. You might have to go ahead and splurge for the really pricey ones. Oh well, a girl’s gotta have what she’s gotta have.

P.S. What size do you wear? Maybe I could get some for you at MY Target.

  7. Samantha Lee :

Alison – I just got those same boots at my target today for $14.99! They had a huge section of clearanced shoes and there they were. I also bought two other pairs – a set of gold flats (too cute) and a set of heals with a ruffle down the front, for $9 each. Can’t beat Target for cheap, cute shoes!

    • Petit Elefant :

Stop it, stop it right now, you’re just trying to hurt my feelings.

      CLEARANCE?!

  8. Amanda :

I saw your post last night…bought those stinkin’ boots today!! Thank you, thank you. My first pair of boots!!!! I’ve been wanting some forever and a friend had just told me last weekend that if I bought one thing for Fall it HAD TO BE BOOTS. Haha! Okay…I actually bought 2 pair. There was also a cute grayish suede pair that I snagged for $40. Couldn’t decide. :) Thanks for giving me the push.

    • Allison :

Amanda, I’m so glad you got yourself a pair! Your friend was right, steering you in the direction of boots, they’re the absolute must-have purchase for fall.

      Good girl.

  9. Trainer Momma :

OK, it was 92 degrees here today, but I still wore my boots. It is freakin’ fall already, weather — it’s time to cooperate! My feet were sweating, but hey — all in the name of fashion, yes?

    • Allison :

All in the name of fashion, yes. And it will cool down soon, yes? It’s even a little unseasonably hot in Utah right now too. Weird. The cool will come though, and you’ll be the hottest mama on the block.

  10. Marie :

I’m so ready to get my boots out to wear. But my flips are still taking over in this heat!!

    • Allison :

Yes, you have some seriously cute grey boots mama. I think we might need to take a little shopping trip to get some more, yes?

  11. Andrea Fellman :

Those are a steal! Perfect everyday fall boot for bust moms, I dig em!

    • Allison :

Andrea, I know, can you believe the price?! They’re comfortable to boot! Love that.

  12. Ashley :

I just found your blog and am so excited – I want to go back and catch up on your previous posts because I’m loving your current ones. Fun fashion tips – I do the same thing every once in a while on my blog. Keep ’em coming!

    • Allison :

Ashley, thank you I really appreciate hearing that! I try to write about fashion at least twice a week, usually more. Come back anytime!

      Welcome.

  13. Vera :

I found your blog a couple of months ago and I absolutely love it, so down-to-earth and fun! Boots are really a must have this fall, I agree. We don’t have Targets in Hungary, but I will try my best to find a nice pair, it’s getting really cold. :) (Shoe shopping with two children can easily become a nightmare, so I really have to hurry with my decisions!)

  14. Sarah Beck :

Got ’em Love ’em! Wore them all day today, Thanks for the heads up!
