weekly fitness tip: set small achievable goals.

by Allison on February 16, 2009 in Family, family_fitness

Set bite sized goals for your fitness. Really, bite sized.

It didn’t take you 2 months to put on an extra 50 pounds did it? I didn’t think so. Although I might have just put on an extra 50 over the weekend with all the Valentine goodies lurking around here. Don’t have unrealistic expectations about fitness, weight loss, overall health.

That doesn’t mean you aren’t going to lose that extra 50 lbs., it just means it isn’t likely to happen before March. If you wanted to set a goal of losing say, 5 lbs. by March it’s a little less daunting don’t you think?

Think:

BITE SIZE GOALS

And if you haven’t signed up for the Petit Elefant Fitness Challenge, I encourage you to do so. It’s keeping me honest…
