Our travels tend to consist of weekend visits to our families. Given the frequency of these trips, I bought my husband a fantastic bag, which he doesn’t like to share (I kid, I kid…sorta). This is fine, except it’s making my overstuffed hobo bag and pillowcase look pretty bad – even though it’s a dang cute pillow case. Anyway, I’d LOVE to get this bag (and then not share it with my husband).

I have an old duffle bag that came with my Sierra Club subscription. I would love to be able to upgrade.

Right now I have several bags for the weekend because with a child you need to bring along everything but the kitchen sink. We use a blue llbean duffle which has the logo of the company my husband works for embroidered on it(hideous)and then several canvas totes for my daughers things. I’ve had my current luggage for the entire length of my marriage, which is 20 years. It was hand-made by Dusty the Bag Lady. I love my luggage, but it is rather old and not ridiculously fantastic. I’d love some ridiculously fantastic luggage.

My husband and I make joint decisions about almost all purchases. This is a totally chic and fun bag, so he would never agree to it. Travel bags must be black, black, black, or if I caught him on a wild day maaaaybe dark navy. We frequently roadtrip to visit family and as a full-time mom I do all the packing, so this would make the work more fun and put a little color in my life. Did I mention that after 7 years we’re finally painting our all ecru walls. He gave me tons of choices–any shade of brown or white. But I digress… He’s a wonderful man just color-averse.

Ohhh, Lordy me! I’m embarrassed to tell, but my current weekender bag is a hunter green rolling suitcase…with ONE WHEEL! Yup, back when we went to California, oh a year and a half ago, one of the wheels broke. I keep trying to throw the bag away, but my darling husband thinks that it’s still got miles and miles of useage left. While it probably does, my 8 year old drug it through the house one day and now my wood floors have a beautiful (ahem, not!) scratch, due to the one wheeled suitcase.

What a gorgeous weekender! This summer, we are not taking a big vacation but 3 overnight trips so this is absolutely perfect!
I am using stupid, stupid man luggage in a hideous tweed that was my husbands from the seventies I think. Not very fashionable and actually not practical either since it’s big enough for 7 days stay!

Until recently, I had an old Vera Bradley bag that I used for everything! I received it as a gift years ago, when I was in college and had no idea that Vera Bradley bags were so great! I pretty much used it to death, and now I have an assortment of tote bags in all shapes and sizes that I grab when I’m on the go…but nothing as stylish as my Vera Bradley or this lovely bag! I have a collection of duffles left over from college and early career. I could definitely use something more contemporary.

OK, this is really sad, I usually use Wal-mart or Target bags for overnighters I do have some nice luggage, but it is way too big for an overnight trip. I also stuff as much stuff as I can into my 3 year olds diaper bag.

I still use my old highschool backpack! Fortunately, I have had it for so long now that the memories of how many things have been spilt or squashed into it… (I’m remembering a particularly bad episode of a chocolate milk saturating the bag and all my lovely school books!)

Most all of my bags have been “beat up” by the airlines. It would be wonderful to have something that would be so stylish.

What we have now are very large suitcases for travelling which can be a waste of room for going away for just the weekend.

Cute bag! I don’t travel as much as I used to, but this would make the traveling a whole lot more fun!

My current weekend bag is my purple gym bag. *sighs* I know… sad huh?

My 16 year old is actually up in Aspen with her boyfriends family this weekend using it!

We need something cooler to cart around!

I had a winter hold-all bag but not one for summer. This is perfect! I just may be ‘back in business!

We are going away for the 4th and I am still using one of those freebies you get when you buy makeup.

Perfect summer gift for my niece.

Because like every other “clever” person, I got a set of red luggage so I could see my bag easily on on the baggage carousels at the airpport. Everyone has red now, and dirt and filth really shows up on red. Ugh. If I won this awesome bag, I would never check it, but carry it with me at all times. I love it!

I have been adoring the bag ever since I first saw it. As luck would have it, I just found that I have to travel by myself with my two kids ( a 3 year old and a 1 year old) from Arizona to Michigan. Even thinking about it makes me want to cry a little. Anything to make this trip easier would be a real blessing. This bag (and a miracle) would be perfect!

I have this beat up, fake crocodile-looking red bag that I use. It’s pretty messed up! And this on is SO cute and would be great to use for my weekend trip for my first wedding anniversary!!

This is a great looking bag. I need it because my current bag isn’t nearly as much fun nor as useful. I don’t have a good small “weekend” bag and everything I have is black and drab and tired. In fact, I often use ziploc bags tucked into a larger bag for just this purpose.

I have an old luggage piece from years ago, it’s bulky and in sad shape…I need something new!

My personal travel bag is actually an old oversized diaper bag that I had when my son was a baby. He is now 3 years old. I think that I am definately in need of a new one. Thanks!!

What a classy looking bag! Since I travel a lot it would be perfect as an over-the-shoulder carryon and it can be put on top of my 22″ rollaboard suitcase for longer trips.

Wow! What a wonderful bag – it puts my old purple carry-on bag to shame! I would simply LOVE to win that bag so that I might retire my old one It would be great to take with me on my cruise to the Bahamas!

My current travel bag is most often those plastic grocery bags that breed in one’s pantry. I use them as beach bags, dirty clothes hamper on weekend getaways, etc.

My bag is drab- marine green with quite a few war wounds. But this bag is SO sunny and cheerful, I would have the courage to once again chase my toddler up and town the miniscule airplane aisles while my husband blissfully works on his crossword : )

I’m actually visiting my parent’s house right now! I’m ashamed to admit it, I’m still using luggage my grandmother handed down to me when I was in high school. It’s a horrible avocado green color. Not good, not good.

This would be a bag worth paying $15.00 to check.

….I would LOVE to send this to my 11 y/o grandaughter….she would ADORE IT! Her mom and little brother go in picnics all the time, in lovely Michigan, but I know for a fact, the goodies are packed in plastic pags, the extra clothes in Barbie suitcases, and they’re pleased as can be anyway, because they’re getting out with mom. They’d be shocked to get something as lovely as this!

I have a fairly large family, so we can use all the travel bags we can get. It seems like we never have enough for all the items we need to pack. Right now we use duffel bags and we have two luggage bags on wheels.

This is a beautiful bag! Much more stylish than my current travel solution that sometimes involves using my husband’s old hiking backpack or worse, using the diaper bag to hold my daughter’s stuff as well as my snacks and sunglasses and make-up bag and…well you get the picture…mom needs her own bag.

I use my parent’s luggage (the kind with the rollers), I need this weekender because it’s young and hip, like me! I don’t like my parents dated luggage! I love the print on the weekener!

Hi there! What a fantastic giveaway! Our brood consists of myself, my husband Hudson and our 3 children. Our current travel bags are ultra basic, my husband and I both use oversized solid black duffle bags. They really hold a lot, but they are not stylish at all. As for our children, well, our youngest is only 4 months old, so she can share with Mommy, LOL! Our other 3 kids, 3 and 7 years old really don’t have travel bags per say, they both have cute backpacks that they wear and they have small duffle bags for when they have weekends at their grandparents, or the few times they have travelled. But, the great news is that in August we are ALL going to Cape Cod for 10 days. That should be fun and interesting to say the least, our first time travelling with a newborn baby! So, we can really, really use this ultra chic and very functional Weekender Travel Bag by Dwell! Not only do I absolutely love it, but it will be able to hold all of Sienna’s things (our baby)! I have a denim tote bag from eons ago that I currently use.

I travel with a used duffel bag someone gave to me. It has seen better days. Inside it comes complete with Ziploc freezer bags for the toiletries. I could definitely use something with pizazz and this bag has it! Thanks for the giveaway!

My bag is made of cloth and one seam is split. I hold it closed with a large safety pin.

I like the weekender bag.
We are traveling 2500 miles roundtrip to visit my son and daughter in law for the birth of their first child. I could use this and then let my daughter in law borrow it for her trip to the hospital, I just couldn’t give it up because its so cute. My current travel bags are a suitcase that I got at a yard sale, and a tapestry bag with wheels and a telescoping handle that is nice for flying. They carry things, but not in a pretty way.

Wow. How’d you know I travel with 30 ziploc bags? I thought I was special that way. I usually travel with a couple of smaller, soft bags, but now that I have to pay for checked bags, I’ll be carrying on a larger bag.

The bag i’m using now is an insulated aldis bag with one broken handle.:( ty 4 the great contest!
