I love traveling more than I love a lot of things-chocolate included-which is really saying something.
But what I love more than travel, more than several days in a row partying it up in New York City, is coming home to this:

I'm Allison, founder and editor of Petit Elefant. I run the gamut from granola to glamour and love everything in between. I think the beach is always a good idea, as is Diet Dr. Pepper; on ice. Sometimes I put out the fires and sometimes I start them. Sometimes I really do have it all together. Sometimes my children say otherwise. We just like to keep it real around here.
I love seeing the faces of my children when I come home. It is pure joy! It is too bad that we can no longer go to the gates anymore to pick up people. When I was younger I loved just going to the airport to watch all the hugs, kisses, and even crying. It is better than a movie.
the airport is a really interesting cross section of life isn't it? Hello's, goodbye's, coming going. I especially love the coming home part myself.
No matter how great the vacation – it is always great coming home!
