As I child, I lived next door to a nice older couple that loved for my sis and I to pay little visits. At least they pretended to love it and made us feel important. They had a narrow section of wall where they had marked in pencil the growth of their own children. We loved that they obliged us in marking our growth, too. They wrote on the wall, for goodness sake! We definitely didn’t get to do that in our own living room.
Now I can show my little guy just how fast he really grows–and spare my walls–with these
snazzy height charts from Australian
Kideko. You’ve probably seen their fun and spunky
bedding collections around blog land–darling, perfect for the in-between-stages modern kid. The coordinating charts are bold, lightweight, durable, and include plenty of lines for measuring growth. Happy green monsters, sunshine-y giant numbers, or love-able hearts.

...by day, making a home where the buffalo roam. By night, pretty much the same thing, punctuated by the occasional fantasies of sunny beaches, italian movies and sparkling lemonade.

I love the tradition of marking height, but I hate to mark up the wall if we’re going to move. I don’t want to lose all the precious marks! I LOVE these growth charts. They’re the stylish solution to the problem.
