When I was in New York last month at BlogHer, I passed through the expo hall {where all the sponsors of the conference have booths to show their wares} and spent some time at the eBay booth.
You see, back in the day I sold a lot of stuff on eBay to make ends meet and earn a little Disneyland cash on the side. I sold fashion stuff. Old clothes I was recycling for cuter stuff, things from around the house. I have a soft spot for eBay. In fact, I still buy a lot of stuff there.
Well, the whole booth was about fashion. Turns out, they have an entire fashion section now. Designer stuff. Pretty, expensive, shiny, sparkly things for way less money than anywhere else.

I entered a drawing, as one is wont to do, and ended up winning a purse and wallet.
Dude. This stuff is nice. The See By Chloe purse retails for around $600-$700. It sells on eBay for anywhere from $100-$400. If you’re into that sort of thing {I am} it’s a steal.
They had me at the zipper. Come on. It’s adorable.
And there’s really something to owning a nice purse. I have one other really nice one I whip out for special occasions and hard days. There’s a weightiness to it. A plush, leathery, heavy goodness you just can’t find in a Target bag.
You know I own mostly Target bags. I hold nothing against them. I worship at the altar of Target just like everyone else.
But sometimes, mama needs a little splurge.

I totally agree with you. I love Target as much as (probably more than) the next girl, but sometimes Target bags just won’t fly. As soon as my youngest was old enough, I splurged on a good bag. LOVE IT.
Oh and that zipper? Amazing. How did they do that?
There’s just something to a little weightiness, a little softness in the leather.
The zipper kills me.

That is an amazing purse, the color, style, and zipper for sure. I last went on e-bay for designer diaper bags. There are great steals for them there! Love everything about that purse!!!!
I find the greatest stuff on eBay all the time. But it’s super cool that there’s a whole new section devoted to high fashion.

OH MY!! That green purse is so fun. Love the color of course and the zipper is really cool too. What a fun giveaway to win!! I heart purses way more than I should and I definitely think it’s nice to invest in a few nicer things every once in a while. {jeans, purses, sunglasses, etc.}
