  •      Two Soothie Pacifiers
  •      One Diaper
  •      Wipes
  •      One Cloth Diaper
  •      A pair of pants for baby
  •      A t shirt for baby
  •      A nursing cover
  •      Four lip colors (two lipsticks, one lip plumper and one NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream which is the most amazing ever)
  •      Vitamin pill box (with a multi and chromium inside)
  •      Aromatic Oil sample that was given to me
  •      Six plane tickets (I travel a lot, I guess)
  •      Two gate check tickets
  •      My Wallet (which is really a clutch and has a ton of things inside including my phone and keys)

I gave up purses almost 9 months ago when my son was born. I know that’s no excuse, but here’s my diaper bag/purse nonetheless.  It’s a Skip*Hop bag that I got from Target.com. I LOVE it.

The contents, going counter clockwise:
  • 2 plastic bags for when The Boy decides to poop on his clothes
  • Changing pad made by yours truly (fabric from IKEA)
  • 1 burp rag
  • 2 extra onesies in case of an accident (see content #1)
  • 2 lists…I love lists
  • Case of wipes
  • Diaper rash cream
  • 3 diapers from Target (love them, and they’re cheap!)
  • Little make-up bag (Anthropologie)
  • 1 receipt from a return at Barnes and Noble
  • A couple toys for The Boy
  • Formula container
  • Wallet (Urban Outfitters)

First Row:

  • - folded changing pad that came with the diaper bag – love the black and lime print but I forget the name of the pattern
  • - an extra outfit for the little miss because you never know – in this case a navy blue cotton dress with embroidered flowers
  • - blue striped pack of Baggu reusable shopping bags – I am loving this new set because it’s small enough to fit in my bag, so I never forget them.  Three bags holds an entire grocery run!

Second Row:

  • - two pre-fold cloth diapers and a blue Thirsties cover – we heart cloth diapering!

This is a purse that I’ve had for years…YEARS…  It pretty much goes with everything, so I don’t have to change purses unless I really want to.  I think I got it at Kohls…

  • Receipts & store coupons – time to clean…
  • Several lip balms, glosses (didn’t even know i still had two of them).
  • Excedrin Migraine & Benadryl – allergy season is ongoing…
  • Wallet.
  • Cash – I never have cash, today was rare, I was just holding it for my daughter.
  • Loose change – always have in the bottom of my purse.
  • Orbit gum.
  • Sticker and card from places I’ve visited lately.

My purse is a knock off of a Valentina my hubby brought back from a business trip to Milan a few years ago. I love  the purse so much, even though it’s starting to fall apart a bit I can’t give it up because of how awesome it is. I think my hubby needs to go back to Milan soon!

My purse is Coach- purchased from eBay- $45 well spent!  Here is my purse inventory. The list starts at the top.
  • Olive Dragon Fly change purse- purchased in Finland (designer Marimekko) I carry my camera in it.
  • Car/House keys
  • Blistex Silk and Shine- I’m tellin’ you ladies, you have to purchase this! It smells fantastic and it really does smooth your lips and adds a shiny top coat!
  • Covergirl Advanced Radiance, for my shiny face moment, which is more than I’d like.
  • PocketBac- Bath and Body Works anti-bacterial in Fresh Picked Watermelon
  • Teal wallet- Purchased with a tote bag from QVC, not sure

A little bit of info about me. I work at the for the County Library System as a Library Technical Assistant. I have a toddler and she is almost 2 years old. I can’t believe it, Time does fly!
I also can’t believe that I manage to stuff all of those:quite many- but necessary items in my handbag! Go figure, I must be a Mom and know how to pack.
