eat at the blue lemon bistro.

One of the perks of blogging {no, not the explaining to everyone I know what I do and getting blank stares in return} is getting invited to cool stuff. I feel like actual press. And guess what, actual press? life’s a little more cozy where they live. Backstage passes, premieres, restaurant openings. You know, business as usual.

Last week I was invited to have dinner with some other Utah bloggers {read: actual press} at a new Utah restaurant called Blue Lemon Bistro. Can I get a yeah, and an umhmmm? This place is lip-smacking yummy. First off the name is fantastic, I mean Blue Lemon Bistro just evokes clean, organic food does it not?

The philosophy of the restaurant is pretty simple: pure clean food with a twist. Which basically means Blue Lemon uses organic food where they can and they don’t sweat the difference. I’m telling you the food is amazing. It even tastes clean and organic. I had the chance to try a lot of what was on the menu and I’m still dreaming about the lasagna. I’ve never had artichokes in my lasagna, but why not? it’s scrumptious I tell you, scrumptious.

They also have an assortment of natural sodas, {which are delish, especially the raspberry!} but they aren’t pushy about being natural, they still offered me a variety of chemical filled drinks {thank you diet dr.pepper} to supplement the food.

My verdict? It’s some of the best food I’ve had in a long time, the atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely, and the location is perfect. If you’re anywhere near Utah, Blue Lemon Bistro should make the cut.

The best part of the whole evening was hanging out with all these blogging ladies. Honestly, I haven’t had that much fun in a while.
