I was on my way to the grocery store today when I got completely sidetracked and ended up at Joann’s instead. I hate it when that happens.
See, my front door was looking lonely and it needed a little sprucing up for fall.
As loath as I am to see the summer end, I really do enjoy fall. Back to school, crunchy leaves, homemade salsa from my garden, school supplies, time alone.
*Ahem*
So I thought it only natural to celebrate with a beautiful fall wreath for the front door. I think it’s rather pretty, don’t you?
Welcome fall!
I’m so thankful that JoAnn’s is completely out of the way of my usual errand stops, otherwise I would be completely sucked in and my wallet dry by the time I emerged. I do, however, have an AC Moore that is next door to the grocery store. Dangerous in its own right. Pretty wreath!
It’s not super in my way either, but I kind of accidentally made it in my way. It’s bad. But the wreath is so pretty!
pretty. I love fall, it makes me sad that it never is long enough :)
It never is long enough, is it? I’m always sad that it’s a prelude to winter, which is my least favorite, but it’s so beautiful.
Hi Allison! I haven’t commented in FOREVER! I’m so sorry! I’m ready to put away the summer decorations! I’m ready for fall. I just get into my groove and love the change in the weather. I love snuggling up in a blanket! But I especially love making soups! My poor husband! He’s a hearty meal kind of guy.
Oh mercy, I need to add some Fall soups into the meal rotation. They’re the best! Especially in bread bowls. Yum.
I miss fall, it was always my favorite season… I hate living in a state with only 2 seasons!
Trish, I’m jealous, and I’m not. Every time I think I want to live somewhere hot, I’m reminded just how fun it is to have Fall. But you can have Winter.
