My mother just pointed out to me that I’ve been counting down the 12 days of Christmas backwards. Backwards, people. This is the same mom who has had a stroke and suffers from an additional T.B.I. {Traumatic Brain Injury}. So if I’m getting it backwards, well good grief; is there any hope at all left in the world?

Onto the giveaway! On the 5th day of Christmas my true love, Petit Elefant, gave to me: a hospital gown from The Peanut Shell. Doesn’t sound very festive you say? Well, try delivering a baby in your traditionally nasty and unflattering hospital gown. I mean, besides your wedding day, or some other hallmark day in your life, when else will you be starring in so many photos? Wouldn’t you rather be in some darling, custom made hospital gown? Yes? Me too. Too bad my delivery days are over and all the photos of me in the hospital look slightly like a beached whale in blue and white. Not cute.

So, if you know a lovely lady who would love to wear an adorable hospital gown from The Peanut Shell on delivery day, please, help her out. I would have appreciated it.

I'm Allison, founder and editor of Petit Elefant. I run the gamut from granola to glamour and love everything in between. I think the beach is always a good idea, as is Diet Dr. Pepper; on ice.     this is a gorgeous gown! I would love to get it for my sister in law in Central America, she’s recently divorced and has 3 girls of her own but is now involved with a nice guy but just found out she is pregnant. Since she moved back home with her parents after her divorce, she’s too scared to tell them! So hubby and I have had some interesting conversations about it-and it looks like he gets to tell them the news after the holidays!

    I would absolutely LOVE this gown – no joke. I just had a baby and was complaining about how ugly and breezy my hospital gown was. My husband was making fun of me cause I totally did my hair and makeup (waterproof of course!) for the delivery and then I had a nasty gown that was bringin’ my look down.
    This would spice up my dinner convo because I would feel like a celebrity owning this gown. I’m sure celebrities have very interesting conversations around their dinner table.

    I’m preparing to bring baby #3 into the world next spring. I realized the other day IO have been pregnant almost non-stop since April of 2005. I could really use any item that helps me feel a bit feminine and like my old self again. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE being pregnant but my body – well, let’s just say my body would really appreciate this gown.
