Lately I’ve been trying to read books with C {my completely stereotypical 3-year-old boy} that will help him understand the difference between inside behavior and, well wild animal behavior.

Reading this book to C was an epiphany for him; I could honestly see the light bulb illuminate over his head when we read about things that make quiet sounds and things that make loud ones. His quiet and LOUD are the same volume. I’m always telling him to take it from volume 10 to volume 5 and he cocks his head {much like a wild animal} and looks at me like I’m crazy. So, thank you Leslie Patricelli for this illuminating, adorable book.

When P was little we did yoga together all the time, and she loved it. We rolled out my yoga mat and she would do little yoga poses all over the family room. It was completely adorable and was great exercise for her.
i-play babywear makes this cute yoga set for kids {including a yoga mat, bamboo romper & itsy bitsy yoga DVD $52.99} which can be found at babies-r-us. If you don’t want the whole set, you can purchase the mat & romper individually at the i-play babywear online store. Namaste.
